O2MICRO'S CHARGE PUMP SYSTEM ISSUED PATENT

September 22, 2015. O2Micro® International Limited (NASDAQ Global Select Market: OIIM), a global leader in the design, development and marketing of high-performance integrated circuits and solutions, was issued a U.S. patent for its Charge Pump System topology.

This patented system can modify an output to control a NMOSFET switch, reducing switching loss of the system while the switch remains on. This invention was issued under U.S. patent number 9,118,238 with 22 claims.

"In battery powered systems, low current operation is critical. Having a more power efficient NMOSFET driver will extend battery life," said Bill Densham, strategic marketing director, O2Micro.
